We recommend that candidates choose a solely “commission” based payment option. We have found that employers are more likely to hire job seekers based on this structure.
Your connected company will directly pay you according to your selected payment structure. Although we do not officially set a rate for any of the three payment structures, we find that our job seekers earn approximately $7-15/hour.
Because each sales company focuses their efforts on specific industries, no two appointments are the same. Thus, we leave it up to employers and job seekers to agree upon fair houlry, per appointment, and per sale rates.
Since job seekers list their desired payment options and employers sort candidates by these same options, candidates are discoured from negotiating pay with employers upon hiring.
Rather, we encourage open communication between employers and interns to ensure fair starting payment. If renegotiation becomes necessary, we recommend interns wait at least 2 weeks after beginning work, allowing both parties to evaluate fit and job performance–the largest factors in pay.
We recommend that you detail your experience using strong action verbs while providing context using quantitative and qualitative data. In addition, we advise our interns to quantify bullet points (revenune generated, dialed calls, appointments booked, emails sent, etc.) to demonstate the end result and your tangible contributions.
Absolutely! We have found that the majority of our employers are honored when asked to write a letter.
This letter can help you going forward in your job search and propel your career to new heights.
We recommend setting bi-weekly meetings with your manager to ensure that you are both completing the right work and developing genuine professional relationships.
