Congratulations!!!

First off, let me be the first to congratulate you on hiring your intern and positioning yourself for professional success.

Assuming you have already contacted your intern, there are a few key steps that we recommend you take to get the most out of your relationship.

Steps to Success

1) Maintain Open Communication

It's paramount to have an honest conversation regarding what you both hope to gain from your match. By establishing a relationship of trust and transparency, you always be on the same page and understand how to motivate them. You may learn more here: How to Motivate Your Intern

2) Set-Up Workspace

After you both develop their outbound marketing game-plan, you should encourage your intern to set up their virtual workspace (dialing system. CRM software, etc). You may point them to the following informational link: Getting Started

3) Training!

Now that your intern's station is set up, you should help them train. We recommend that you inform your intern of the product(s), teach marketing techniques, demonstrate their role, and practice marketing together. You may point them to the following informational link: Cold Calling

4) Fueling With Leads

Before you let your trained intern loose, you will first need to fuel them with qualified leads. If you already have leads or use a provider, just give your intern the leads to start! If you do not have leads, TeleMatch can help. While TeleMatch is not a lead provider, we have partnered with multiple companies that specialize in leads. You may learn more here: Lead Lists

5) Maintenance

After your intern begins marketing, continue to check in with them frequently, and make them feel a part of the team. Again, you may learn more here: How to Motivate Your Intern
